Who: Members are African Americans who want
to take control of our health, diets and consumer dollars when it comes
to the food we bring in our house, put on our table and put in our
mouths. Through Ujima (collective work and responsibility) we grow our
own food, herbs, spices, at our homes, apartments, etc and sharing
resources, tips and information in a supportive atmosphere.
To join members must be interested in
starting, maintaining or learning about sustainable living through
gardening.
