Bennu Center African Dance

 

Come, move, and have fun working out with African dance while moving to the intoxicating rhythms of international pre-recorded music and live drums.

 

Aya Shabu is a professional dancer, instructor and choreographer. In the past she has performed with the renown African American Dance Ensemble. She was awarded the 2012-2013 Emerging Artist Grant. She is a member of the “Magic of African Rhythms.” She has instructed African dance and healing at the Bennu Cultural Center for Bennu and Onipa Psychological and Consulting Services. Aya will be presenting the power of Afrikan dance for healing.

 

Meets Thursdays 6:30PM-7:45PM

6:40-7:30 African Dance Workout Routines

7:30-7:45 Relaxation Cool Down
